"So he answered, 'Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.'" 2 Kings 6:16 (NKJ)
 
Elisha was warning the king of Israel of every move the king of Aram made against them. When the king of Aram finds out that the prophet Elisha is doing this he sends out his army to capture Elisha. The army surrounds the place where Elisha and his servant are staying; at this point his servant becomes very nervous and wonders what they will do! Elisha on the other hand is not nervous at all, and he prays for the Lord to open his servant's eyes, so he can see why there is no need to be nervous. When the servant's eyes are opened he sees that they hills are full of horses and chariots of fire! God had sent His angels to guard over His servant Elisha.
 
As we step out to serve the Lord we must never forget that He is always with us! God has dispatched His angel army to guard over us and fight for us! As we serve in the Lord's army here on earth the Bible reminds us "He will order his angels to protect you wherever you go." We have not been sent out into this war against the enemy alone, God is with us! He has sent His army of angels to guard over us! We have no need to fear! When it seems like the odds are stacked against you and impending doom is approaching, remember, "Those who are with you are more than those who are against you!" Remember the spiritual realities you are surrounded by, and let your actions be dictated by those realities and not merely the things your natural senses tell you! God is with you!!
