"Drink from the brook and eat what the ravens bring you, for I have commanded them to bring you food." 1 Kings 17:4 (NLT)
 
The Lord commanded Elijah to go and hide in the Kerith Ravine. God tells him that he will be fed by the ravens, they would bring him meat and bread to eat, and he would have a brook to drink from. Just as the Lord had spoken to Elijah, it happened. And, when the brook went dry, God prepared a widow to feed Elijah and give him drink. Elijah walked in faith towards the Word of God, and he received divine supply from The Lord. In the midst of a drought, when many were going without, Elijah did not; all of Elijah's needs were supplied for by The Lord.
 
As we step out in faith, acting on God's Word, we can be sure all of our needs will be met! Regardless of the circumstances surrounding us, God will supply! Our Lord is not limited by inflation or the value of currency. Everything belong to Him! He is able to supply for our every need, even in the midst of the greatest droughts, and it doesn't matter if those droughts are from water or finances, God is more than able to supply! Hudson Taylor once said, "God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supplies." When we act on God's Word, we'll never have to worry about where our supply will come from, for The Lord will provide for our every need. Trust God! Allow Him to be your provider at all times! God is faithful, and if we will but act in faith allowing His Word to move us to action, we will lack nothing!
 
"So don't worry about these things, saying, 'What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?' These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God[e] above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need." Matthew 6:31-33 (NLT)
