"And the seeds that fell on the good soil represent honest, good-hearted people who hear God's word, cling to it, and patiently produce a huge harvest." Luke 8:15 (NLT)

The parable of the sower and the seed that was sown on good ground helps us to identify an important characteristic of Kingdom Leaders. Kingdom Leaders are not satisfied with past exploits, they are always reaching ahead for greater one! They look to remain fruitful for the Kingdom of their Lord! Kingdom Leaders have a heart that has received God's Word, and is continually looking for new ways to yield fruit and advance the Kingdom of God!

Kingdom Leaders aspire for more! A Kingdom Leader is not satisfied with just coming to church on Sunday morning and being a "good person". They want more! They desire to play an active role in the Mission their Lord and Savior gave to His Church. They're not concerned with titles or notoriety; they want to be in the front-lines, battling the enemy for the souls of mankind! Charles Spurgeon, known as the Prince of Preachers, said, "Aspire to be something more than the mass of church members. Lift up your cry to God and beseech him to fire you with nobler ambition than that which possesses the common Christian-that you may be found faithful unto God at the least, and may win many crowns for your Lord and Master, Christ."

If your heart burns with a desire for more than the average church experience, perhaps you have the makings of a Kingdom Leader. If you aspire to do great exploits for the glory of your Lord, to push the battle forward, storming the Gates of Hell to redeem the lost, who are trapped by sin and death, you indeed have the makings of a Kingdom Leader!

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."
