The Grace Of God  

  

"For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men" Titus 2:11 (NKJ)

 

At just the perfect time God sent His Son to save the world.  Jesus Christ is the embodiment of grace! Jesus is Grace! Grace is an undeserved gift; it is unmerited favor with God. The Bible tells us that God so loved the world that He "GAVE" His only begotten Son. Jesus is the gift! Jesus is Grace!

It is through this Grace we receive salvation when we call on the name of the Lord. We don't deserve this salvation, and we have not earned it, we simply receive it.  This Grace, which is Jesus Christ, doesn't stop at the time of salvation, it carries on.  Every time we stumble and fall on our face we have the same Grace there to pick us up and forgive us of our mistakes. It goes still further than that, when we find ourselves in a bind or in need, the same Grace that saved us in the beginning, is there to save us again!

Everything we receive from God in this life is by Grace. We can never earn God's favor and kindness; we can only freely receive it. God saves us and then blesses us along life's journey because of Jesus Christ and His finished work. Too often God's children miss out on His blessings because they try to earn them. We cannot earn what has already been purchased for us; we can only freely receive God's goodness and love through Jesus Christ by faith! Freely receive and be blessed today!!

 

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."  Ephesians 2:8-9 (NKJ)
