"Therefore He says: Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light." Ephesians 5:14 (NKJ)

Paul reminds the Ephesian saints, there is no time to lose! They were not to get carried-up and waste their time with works of darkness. Christ had come, and He was ready to shine His eternal light in them and through them! Paul attempts to awaken the believers in Ephesus from their slumber! There was no time to waste; they were living in desperate times! They needed to make the most of every moment as they labored and waited on Christ.

These words written "SO" long ago, ring "OH SO" true today! There is no time to waste! It's past time for the Church to "Awake" from its slumber and get to work! Jesus is coming back! All we have to do is look around, the signs are clear! Time is running short! We must be about our Father's business! We must climb out of our coffins, and come alive! We must make the most of every moment, laboring for the Kingdom of God; our Home Land! Decide to make the most of every moment today! Share the Gospel with someone! Invite someone to church! Lend a helping hand to someone in need, introducing them to the goodness of Jesus Christ! Love the unlovable! Reach out to the lost! Rise up, and be Jesus to the world around you today!
