God's Ear  

 

"But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I cried to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry reached his ears." 2 Samuel 22:7 (NLT)

 

David tells of his cries reaching the ears of God. And, that is exactly what happens when the children of God cry out to their Father in Heaven. Through Jesus Christ we have a direct line to Heaven, one that reached directly into the throne room and loudly echoes in the ears of our Father. There is not a single prayer that goes unheard from the child of God! Prayer is never a waste of time! Often times though God's children get discouraged, because their prayers are not answered right away, or perhaps they are not answered in the way they thought they should be. But, you can rest assured that God has heard your prayers, and if you have asked according to God's will, which is equal to His Word, you can be sure that in His time and in His way He will answer your prayers! Charles Spurgeon wrote, "Whether we like it or not, asking is the rule of the Kingdom. If you may have everything by asking in His Name, and nothing without asking, I beg you to see how absolutely vital prayer is." Don't hesitate to ask your Father in Heaven for your heart's desires! Call out to the Father, through Jesus Christ, in faith, asking according to His will, and your prayer will indeed reach the ears of God, and you will have whatever you have asked, and it will come in God's way and in God's time!
