"The ark of the LORD remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite three months. And the LORD blessed Obed-Edom and all his household." 2 Samuel 6:11 (NKJ)

Through a chain of events the Ark of the Covenant comes to stay in the house of Obed-Edom for three months during the reign of King David. The Ark of the Covenant represented the very presence of God. So, for three months the presence of God was in the house of Obed-Edom, and everything he did was blessed! The presence of God brought the blessing of God to this home!

For every born again believer, it is a truth, the presence of God has not only come to live in their house, but inside of them; they have become a literal house of God. And, where the presence of God is so is His power! Our lives are to be lives of blessings! Everywhere we go the presence of God goes with us, so in turn everywhere we go we should expect the blessing of God to go with us! Others around us should witness the great favor and blessing in our lives that comes from living in God's presence! Our Lord is always with us, and He loves to bless His children! A.W. Tozer once said, "An infinite God can give all of Himself to each of His children. He does not distribute Himself that each may have a part, but to each one He gives all of Himself as fully as if there were no others." Know today that God has given all of Himself to you, which means He has given you all the blessings of His Kingdom! Expect to see the goodness and favor of God in your life daily! Look for His presence to overwhelm you! Believe God to bless every area of your life, because the power of His presence is everywhere you are!
