"The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom." Deuteronomy 28:13 (NIV)

Moses speaks to the Children of Israel telling them if they will follow the Lord's commands, paying attention to what God says they should do, they will always be blessed! Moses tells them they will always be at the top things, if they will only follow the Lord!

Wow!! ALWAYS at the TOP!! What an incredible promise! We have the opportunity to always be at the TOP! All we need do is follow the Lord at all times! God wants to bless us! He wants to make us the HEAD and not the tail! But, the choice remains with us! God is ready to lead us in paths of prosperity for His name sake, but we must follow! We can never change the love God has for us in Jesus Christ. What we change is His ability to bless us when we don't follow Him. For it is in the presence of the Lord that we are ALWAYS BLESSED! Elisabeth Elliot once said, "God is God. Because He is God, He is worthy of my trust and obedience. I will find rest nowhere but in His holy will, a will that is unspeakably beyond my largest notions of what He is up to." Follow the Lord's leading even when you don't understand where He's taking you! Obey His Word when He speaks to you even though it makes little or no sense to your natural mind! And, you will ALWAYS be at the TOP! You will always be BLESSED!!
