"Then the officers will also say, 'Is anyone here afraid or worried? If you are, you may go home before you frighten anyone else.'" Deuteronomy 20:8 (NLT)

When the children of Israel were going into battle the officers were to make sure there were no men in the mix who were afraid. The Lord told them to do this because fear creates doubt, which destroys faith. And, where there is no faith there can be no deliverance by the power of God. So, the fearful were left at home, that they would not infect the others with fear and doubt, bringing destruction and defeat.

Our companions can fuel the fire of our faith or they can quench it. We serve a God of the impossible, and He moves His children to accomplish the impossible! Knowing this we must be cautious who we take as companions. We should never share our God given dreams with people who have no faith; those who would create fear and doubt in our hearts. We need companions of like faith, friends and associates who will build us up, strengthening our faith, that we may accomplish the dreams and reach the desires God has placed in our hearts! Choose the company you keep wisely, it can make the difference in living out your dreams in victory, or living in disappointment and defeat. Fuel your faith with those of like faith!
