"And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down." Matthew 14:32 (NIV)

When Peter stepped out of the boat to go to Jesus, he stepped out into a storm. And, while with Jesus on the water the storm continued to rage. But, as soon as they stepped back into the boat the storm ceased. Peter stayed with Jesus, never turning back for fear of the storm, and in time the storm died down. Peter had won the victory with Christ!

Things aren't always calm as we walk through this life with Christ. At times things can be very confusing, and even down-right discouraging. At times we even feel like giving up. But, if we will just hold on, and stay beside Jesus, the storms of life will come to an end. King Solomon wrote, "For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven." Just as every storm of life has a begging, every storm also has an ending! If you find yourself in a storm today, hold tight to your faith! Keep your eyes on Jesus! He will see you through this storm! The storm will cease and you will be victorious in Christ! And, through Jesus, you will come out better on the other side of the storm than when you entered it! You have the VICTORY!
