"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

The disciples were called to do a great work, and indeed that work could be called a Great Commission! To do this Great Commission they would need a power and strength beyond their natural abilities. This supernatural power would come from the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit would empower the disciples to be bold and wise! He would give them power of Heaven to do the work of Heaven upon the earth!

The Holy Spirit is the power of Heaven to do the work of Heaven! As believers we are given the gift and the fullness of the Holy Spirit to complete the Great Commission! God doesn't expect us to go it alone; He's coming along with us in the form of the Holy Spirit! We have the power inside of us to change the world! We have the power to destroy the works of the devil! Hudson Taylor, the great missionary to China, said, "Many Christians estimate difficulty in the light of their own resources, and thus they attempt very little and they always fail. All giants have been weak men who did great things for God because they reckoned on His power and presence to be with them." We are more than "just human"! We are a temple of the One True Living God! And, He has entrusted us with His power to do His work! Feel BLESSED and ENCOURAGED knowing God has empowered you to be SUCCESSFUL in ALL He has called you to do! Live this day and every day in the POWER of the Holy Spirit, which daily brings us the VICTORY!
