The Call...

"And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed." Exodus 3:2

After fleeing for his life from Egypt and spending forty years in the wilderness, working his father-in-law's sheep, Moses receives a call from the Lord.  God calls while Moses is going about his daily business and Moses answered the call!

God has a plan and a purpose for each of us, and He often calls us to that plan and purpose when we are least expecting it, as He did with Moses.  God's plans will always interfere with our daily lives, and if we're not willing to accept His interferences we will miss out on all He has for us!  We have to understand God calls when He's ready, not when we want Him to!  God called Moses at a point in his life when he should have been thinking about retirement, but God thinks differently and does things differently!   Let us be willing to answer the call of God at all times!  Let us be willing to lay aside our agenda and embrace His!  Let us not miss out on all the wonders God has for us, because we're too busy to answer the call!
