Steps Of Faith...

"But when she could no longer hide him, she took an ark of bulrushes for him, daubed it with asphalt and pitch, put the child in it, and laid it in the reeds by the river's bank." Exodus 2:3

When Pharaoh commanded that all the male Hebrew children be thrown in the Nile, Jochebed refused to allow her son to be killed!  Jochebed knew that her son was special, so she hid him.  When she could no longer keep the child hid, she didn't just give up.  She devised a plan, no doubt by the leading of the Lord, and put her son in a basket and sent it down the river bank where it would be found by the daughter of Pharaoh.  Pharaoh's daughter would adopt the child and name him Moses.

It took some great steps of faith to ensure the survival of the future deliverer of Israel.  Jochebed took some great steps of faith by hiding Moses and then sending him down the Nile to Pharaoh's daughter.  Perhaps God has given you a vision of a beautiful and prosperous future, and now the enemy is trying to steal that future.  Don't give up!  Take steps of faith that will lead you to the future God has for you!  Remember, steps of faith are never easy and often make no sense.  So, allow the Holy Spirit to guide you in them.  As we take steps of faith the Lord will work on our behave to bring the future He has for us to a reality!
