The Blessed Man...

"Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper." Psalms 1:1-3

BLESSED...a word we all love to hear. It is a word we desire to have describe our state of being. And it is a word God desires to use to describe our state of being as well. God desires to bless us, but we must choose to live the blessed life or not.

A blessed man will refuse to be lead by those outside the Kingdom of God. He will not follow the example laid out by this world. The blessed man lives his life outside of society's norm. He delights in God's Word, for he recognizes the power of God's eternal Word. The blessed man will treasure the Word of God as he pronounces it over his and his family's lives. The blessed man will be nourished by the Word of God and blessings will abound in his life. He shall prosper in all his hand finds to do, and he will do all things with might and power as the grace of God abounds in his life. Choose to be blessed!
