Blessed Because Of Jesus... 

"But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the LORD your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:"  

Deuteronomy 28:15

As God promised to bless Israel if they would follow His commandments, He assures them they will be cursed if they do not. To be cursed is to live a life absent of God's grace and mercy.

We are truly blessed as believers today, for all who have called on the name of the Lord have been freed from the curse.  Jesus Christ became a curse for us, and we became the righteousness of God through Him.  Our blessed life does not depend on us, but on what Jesus did.  Yet there are so many Christian's today who still live as they were under a curse, and it is simply because they are not walking the path the Lord set forth.  Walking the path that Jesus set down for us does not make us worthy to be blessed it merely leads us to Him, where all the blessings lie.  Refuse to walk according to God's Word and you will live unnecessarily under a curse!  Jesus became a curse for us, so let's walk on the path He laid out, according to His word by the power of the Holy Spirit, and grace and mercy will follow us all the days of our lives!  You are BLESSED!!!

"Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." Galatians 3:13-14
