License To Sin?!?!?

"For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord." Jude 1:4

Grace, it is an incredible gift given by God to this world, and indeed that grace was embodied in Jesus Christ Himself! Grace is something that cannot be earned; it can only freely be received from God. And, though grace is free and cannot be earned, it is not something that should, nor can it be, taken for granted. All who have called on the name of Jesus have tasted the grace of God, and are saved by that Grace through faith. But, too many would turn the grace of God into a license to sin. Receiving God's grace doesn't make it ok to sin at will! And, truly those who would try to use the grace of God as a free license to transgress God's Word, for that is what sin is, are not right with God anyways. God's grace not only saves us, but drives out the desire to sin! Those who have truly tasted the grace of God will find it difficult and even impossible to continue in sin! Yes, we will all mess up from time to time, we all slip, we all stumble, but to willing indulge in acts of sin is quite another thing! God's grace frees us from the power of sin, and changes our very nature. God's grace is precious and priceless, and should never be undervalued to point where it is used as a license to sin!
