Fighting The Enemy...

"We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one." 1 John 5:19

The Bible is clear that the world itself belongs to God, but this world system that we live in does not! We live in and operate in a system that is directly opposed to that of our "Home Land". And, we are called by our Lord to fight against this system the enemy has set up; pulling it down! In its place we are to bring the realities of our "Home Land". We are to bring the reality of Heaven to earth! We are to destroy the works of the devil, pulling down strong holds and everything that exalts itself against the truths of God's Word! And, though we live in a world that is under the control of the wicket one, we know, the One that live in us is greater than the one that is in the world! So, we don't fear the devil, but we go about with the authority and power of Jesus Christ, destroying everything the enemy has set up! We are the reality of Christ in this world, and we should live in the power and authority He has given us!! The world and its ruler is not a friend of ours, and we should be very careful not to make them a friend either! Live this day and everyday in the power of the Holy Ghost! "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give!"

"For everything in the world-the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what he has and does-comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever." 1 John 2:16-17
