Complete Faith...
"You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did."
James 2:22
James speaks of how Abraham's actions when offering Isaac on the altar completed his faith. Without this action Abraham's faith would have been incomplete, and therefore ineffective! Is it possible that many of God's children never see their prayers answered because of incomplete faith? I believe so!! They say they believe God, but their actions proclaim something else! The Bible also tells us that Abraham, against hope believed in hope. In other words, when everything around him proclaimed God's word would fail, when all he saw denied God's promise, Abraham held tight to it and allowed his actions to be dictated by God's word and not his circumstance!
If we want our prayers to be powerful and effective our faith is going to have to be complete! And, that means our actions must always be dictated by God's word, and not by what we see! We are to "live by faith and not by sight!" Complete your faith by acting on God's word regardless of what the world, the devil, and even your own eyes tell you! Trust God! He is faithful!
"And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him." Hebrews 11:6
