Make It Count...

"Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away." James 4:14

Life is short!! The Bible compares it to a vapor; you see it for a moment and then it's gone! We are only given a finite amount of time on this earth; we would be wise to make it count! Time is the one thing we can't get back! Wasted time cannot be redeemed, so we must make the most of the time we have been given! We must use the short amount of time we've been given to advance the Kingdom of God!

The Bible also tells us how we are to live our life when it compares us to soldiers. The Apostle Paul said, "No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier." We are indeed soldiers for Christ with a limited amount of time! We are here to battle against the demonic horde and its leader, satan, who desire to enslave this world and see its inhabitants condemned to Hell! We must resist the urge to allow ourselves to get entangled with the things of this world! We must use our time wisely, sharing the Gospel and expanding the Kingdom! Time wasted is lost forever, and soldiers who are entangled are useless! Fight the good fight for the Kingdom of God, using your time wisely! Make your life count!!

"And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown." 1 Corinthians 9:25
