Seek God's Face...

"When You said, 'Seek My face,' My heart said to You, 'Your face, LORD, I will seek.'" Psalm 27:8

So often when Christians seek God they are only seeking His hand. They only look to God for what they can get out of Him. God loves His children, and He loves to provide for them by His mighty hand. Still, He desires so much more of us than just to fill our "Christmas List". Our Father in Heaven wants a personal, cheek-to-cheek relationship with each of his children. We miss out on the glory of God and the fullness of our Father's presence when we only seek His hand. The Bible says, "Those who seek the Lord will lack no good thing." God is so much more than a "Santa Clause Figure" and when we seek His face we find a fullness of joy that words could never express a fullness of joy that surpasses the acquisition of things by light years. Seek to have a personal cheek-to-cheek relationship with your Father in Heaven, for this is the relationship He wants with each of His children through Christ Jesus!
