Test It...

"Test all things; hold fast what is good."  

1 Thessalonians 5:21

The Bible teaches us to test everything! We cannot afford take anything at face value. So, if I am to test everything the question must be answered, how do I test it? The answer to that is simple, and can never change. We are to test everything according to God's Word! In this crazy mixed up world we live in, we are bombarded with all kinds of evils disguised as good. But, when we measure things by the word of God many things in this world, that pass themselves off as good, do not pass the test. God's Word is absolute, and though opinions on some things may vary, most things are straight forward! And, when God says don't do something, that exactly what He means; no debate or mixed interpretation is needed! As God's children we must take everything we are told and subject to and see if it passes the test, if not we should just leave it alone! God's Word is absolute and will never change! Spend time every day getting to know the Word better! Let no one deceive you because of a lack of study! Know God's Word, trust it, and use it to test everything!
