Blessed Assurance...

"Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water." Hebrews 10:22

What's going to happen when I die?  Is there life after death?  Will I make it to Heaven?  How do I know where I'm going to end up when I die?  These are all questions that bring torment to so many around the world.  The thought of what will happen when someone dies can drive them mad.  Yet for the child of God questions about death and the afterlife hold no torment.  The child of God can look death in the face knowing that through Jesus Christ death has lost its sting and the grave has lost its victory.  The child of God has a "Blessed Assurance" from their Lord they will never taste of death.  Because of Jesus Christ the child of God simply passes to eternal joy with their Lord when their body stops working.  Through Christ we have an assurance of eternal joy and reward.  This "Blessed Assurance" the child of God holds cannot be taken from him by any man, demon, or angel, in fact the Apostle Paul writes, "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."  Through Christ the children of God hold a "Blessed Assurance" of eternal life that no religion, philosophy, government, or psychologist can give!
