Never Surrender...

"We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed."  

2 Corinthians 4:8-9

As Britain entered the Second World War, their newly elected prime minster gives a speech in which he declares that no matter what the British people go through they would "never surrender"!  The British people would indeed go through many horrific and disparaging things, but true to Winston Churchill's words they never did surrender, and in the end stood victorious with their allies.

Living in this world as children of God we too face many horrific and difficult times.  But, no matter what we go through we must adopt the "never surrender" attitude!  We will have times when we are perplexed, times when we fail, times when we are persecuted, but if we will hold to the hope we have in Jesus we will never be destroyed, and we will "never" contemplate "surrender"! Make a choice to hold your ground no matter what come your way!  If you get knocked down, get back up!  You are a child of God and He is with you!  NEVER SURRENDER!! The VICTORY is yours through Jesus Christ!!!
