Learn The Lesson...

"As a dog returns to his own vomit, So a fool repeats his folly." Proverbs 26:11

It is said that insanity can be defined as doing the same thing over-and-over again and expecting a different outcome.  Perhaps it could also be called the actions of a fool.  Too often we repeat the same mistakes over-and-over again!  If we could only learn the first time we fall!  There is no need to suffer the same mistakes again-and-again!  Returning to old sinful ways and repeating ways of past failures can truly be called the actions of a fool.  The children of Israel went around-and-around the mountain never entering the Promised Land, making the same mistakes over-and-over again.  If we want to enter into the promises the Lord has for us we must learn from our past.  If we continue in our past sins and failures we will pass from this life in bitterness and despair having never entered into all the Lord had for us!  Let us learn from the past, so that we may live the life of promise and blessing the Lord desires us to have!
