Walking Tall...

"You are witnesses, and God also, how devoutly and justly and blamelessly we behaved ourselves among you who believe; as you know how we exhorted, and comforted, and charged every one of you, as a father does his own children, that you would walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory."

1 Thessalonians 2:10-12

Paul reminds the Thessalonians they have been brought into the Kingdom of God, and now they should be living an exemplary life that brings glory to Christ. This truth is one all of God's children should embrace! We have been brought into the Kingdom, and we are no longer to behave like the rest of the world! The things we once did and believed to be acceptable should no longer have place in our lives! We must live our lives in a way that brings glory to Jesus! Our behavior should be exemplary! We should live blameless in this world! For thought we are to live in the world, as representatives of Jesus Christ, we are not to live like the world does! As God's children we are royalty and our behavior should reflect this fact! Walk Tall brothers and sister! Don't give the devil or the world anything to hold over your head! You have the power of God living inside of you, giving you strength, so that you may be a righteous witness, living a holy and blameless life style! Walk Tall and let your life bring glory to Jesus!

"And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others."
