Blinded Minds...

"Whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them."  

2 Corinthians 4:4

The devil has indeed blinded those who do not know Jesus, to the truth of the saving power of the Gospel.  He has not only blinded those outside the Kingdom of God, but he continues to keep many of God's children in the dark to the complete work of the Gospel.  The Gospel of our salvation that Paul preached and which is the power of God unto salvation opens the door for us to enter the Kingdom of God.  When we enter the Kingdom of God we are freed from the power of sin and death!  Sickness, poverty, and despair all lose the power they once held over us.  But, satan and his demonic horde continue to keep many in the dark, whispering lies in their ears.  So, many Christians continue to live in poverty, sickness, and despair, because they believe the lies of the devil instead of trusting the Word of God.

If you find yourself living in despair, poverty, and chronic sickness refuse to believe the lies of the devil!  Embrace the truth of God's Word!  You have been brought into the Kingdom of God through the door of the Gospel message.  Act on the Word of God concerning your life and you will tear away the blinders the devil has used to keep you in the dark!

"That you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind." Ephesians 4:22-23
