Be Fruitful...

"Then God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth." Genesis 1:28

God's commission to Adam and Eve still stands for us today.  We find it echoed in the words of Jesus when He told His disciples, "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations."  As we go through this life we are to continue to reproduce ourselves.  A fruitless Christian is a contradiction in terms, for all Christians are to be fruitful!  Anything that is not growing and producing is dying!  As God's children we must continue to grow, and as we grow in our relationship with Him we will surely be fruitful, reproducing ourselves in others, just as Jesus taught us to.  I encourage you to embrace to commission our Lord has given us, and be fruitful!  Fill the earth with the glory of the Lord by reproducing yourself in others, that they may also become temples of the Holy Spirit, full of the glory of God!
