They Must Hear...

"How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?" Romans 10:14

The answers to the apostle's questions are:  they can't...they can't... they can't!!!  If someone doesn't tell the lost about the saving grace, which comes only through Jesus Christ, they'll never know about it!  And, if they never learn about the Savior who died for them, they'll never be able to believe on Him and they won't be saved!  After the resurrection and before Jesus acceded into Heaven, He told His disciples to go and tell everyone about Him and what He had done.  They were to do this so that the people could learn about Jesus and call on Him for salvation, surrendering to His Lordship.  If they didn't need to call on Him for salvation, Jesus would have told His disciples not to say anything, that way no one would be able to deny Him, and everyone would go to Heaven by default.  But, that is not how it works.  

I encourage you to share the good news of Jesus with someone today!  There are a lot of really good people who don't know Jesus is the only way to Heaven; they need to be told!  There are a lot of people who've never even heard there is a Savior named Jesus!  People must be told, so they can have the same opportunity as we did to believe!  Share the gospel with someone today; it is truly "the power of God unto salvation for all who believe".

"that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10
