"Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." Romans 8:37

We all face times of disappointment. Things happen we don't understand; things that make little or no sense at all transpire in our lives, and in the lives of our loved ones.  At times like this we find encouragement in Paul's writings, when he says, "We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."  And, then Paul reminds the church at Rome; though we face trials and heartbreaks we should remember, "We are more than conquerors!"  Paul is literally telling the church, "We have gained a decisive victory over the enemy, so no matter what happens to you, never forget, you have the victory in Christ and it cannot be taken from you, so don't give up hope!" 

We will have mountain top experiences in this life, and we will have experiences when we are walking through the lowest of valleys.  But, as God's children we can always stand victorious because of Jesus!  Remember today, you are MORE than a conqueror!  You are a child of the King!  

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." Psalms 23:4
