Just A Measure...

"For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith." Romans 12:3

God has given every human being a measure of faith; that is a limited amount of faith.  This faith that lives in every person waits for the prompting of the Holy Spirit, at which time it goes into action, if we choose to exercise it, and this measure of faith moves us to call on the name of Jesus for salvation.  As we continue in our walk with the Lord we have many opportunities to use this measure of faith God has given us, and as we do it grows.  God continues to add to our faith as we act on that which He has already given us.  And, when the Lord moves us to bigger challenges He is always there to increase our faith as needed.  I encourage you today, use the faith God has given you!  Step out today and trust of God in a way you have never dared in the past!  Use the faith the Lord has given you, and allow it to grow!  Take a small step of faith today, and you'll be able to take a bigger you tomorrow!
