Uncommon Favor...

"And the natives showed us unusual kindness; for they kindled a fire and made us all welcome, because of the rain that was falling and because of the cold." Acts 28:2

Paul tells of the unusual kindness the natives showed them when they were ship-wrecked.  They found a kindness that was not given to just anyone.  God had given them uncommon favor in the eyes of the natives. 

When we have favor from God great things happen!  God's favor brings many blessings!  With the favor of God we find others willing to do things for us that they wouldn't do for others!  Many people seek after riches, but riches are fleeting.  But, favor, unlike money, stays with us!  When God brings us uncommon favor, we find doors open to us, which we never thought possible.  Money represents faith in a worldly system, and it never endures, and only satisfies temporarily.  Uncommon favor is from the Lord, and the blessings it can bring are not only enduring, but overwhelming!  Look for the uncommon favor of God in your life!  Expect great things to happen!  Believe for things to go your way, because you are loved by your Father in Heaven!  

"Let not mercy and truth forsake you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart, And so find favor and high esteem In the sight of God and man." Proverbs 3:3-4
