Clean...

"And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common." Acts 10:15

As Peter is on the house top praying he is given a vision from the Lord.  The vision is of a sheet full of unclean animals.  Peter is told by the Lord to slay and eat.  This must have sent a shock wave through Peter who had never eaten anything unclean!  Peter is soon brought to understand that if God makes something cleaning no one should call it unclean.  The vision represented much more than mere animals, but people also, people of every tribe and tongue that would be made clean through the blood of Jesus Christ.  There would no longer be Jews and Gentiles, but all people would be united under the blood of Christ through faith.  If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior you have been made clean.  Every mistake, every sin you have ever committed has been washed away.  But the good news doesn't stop there, not only are your past sins washed away, but every mistake you will make in the future has been taken care of by Jesus and His redemptive work on the cross.  The Bible tells us Jesus died once, enough for all time.  That means His death paid for the sins of all mankind, throughout all time; past, present, and future.  If you have been made clean let no man or devil tell you otherwise, you are now the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus!  

"Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great, And He shall divide the spoil with the strong, Because He poured out His soul unto death, And He was numbered with the transgressors, And He bore the sin of many, And made intercession for the transgressors." Isaiah 53:11
