Knowing The Word...

"Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15

Read your Bible!  Study your Bible!  Know the truth!  In this country we have the unique privilege above all other countries and people who have ever lived on this earth to learn the Word of God. We have the Word available to us like no other people ever had.  We have it readily available in print, on audio, and even in video.  We have unprecedented access to the Word of God.  The "Word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." And we have ability to inject it into our lives by reading it, studying it, praying it over our families.  Too many Christians have entangled themselves with the things of this world and have no time for God's Word.  What a shame it is when the child of God neglects God's eternal and all powerful Word to indulge in the things and cares of this world!  The Word of God has the power to change any situation.  Jesus said, "Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."  The Word is eternal and all powerful for it comes straight from God!  It is "God Breathed"!  Make time to prayerfully read and study God's eternal Word daily!  It will change your life!

"Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper."
