"Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word." Acts 8:4

 

Being a believer in the early church wasn't easy!  Once the persecution broke out in Jerusalem the believers found themselves separated from family and friends, scattered abroad.  But, in spite of persecution and hardships wherever the believers went the preached the Word.  These early believers saw that it was their job to preach the Gospel everywhere they went.  No matter what the circumstance was that surrounded them they knew they had received something special, something everyone else needed, so they shared the Gospel message everywhere they went.

 

We could learn valuable lesson from these early believers.  We don't face the persecution they did, and yet too often we fail to share the Gospel message with those around us.  We like them should make it a point to purposely share the message of salvation with everyone around us.  We should look for and MAKE opportunities to share the message with everyone!  Let us be diligent to share the Gospel message daily!  Let us not just wait for opportunities, let us MAKE them!  Be bold for the Gospel's sake today!
