"Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?" 1 Corinthians 3:16

 

The believers at Corinth struggled with their new identity in Christ.  They were living and acting like they always had, they needed to embrace their new identity.  The same can be said for many Christians today, they live like the world because they just don't know who they are! 

 

So who does the Bible say I am in Christ Jesus?  It says; I am saved!  I am free! I am delivered!  I am a child of the King!  I am a house of God!  I am more than a conqueror!  I am healed!  I am pure!  I am forgiven!  I am a joint heir with Christ!  I am covered in the blood!  I am protected by angels!  I am sealed with the Holy Spirit!  I am filled with the Holy Spirit!  I am an ambassador of Christ!  I am the righteousness of God!  I am Holy!  I am part of a chosen generation!  I am without blame!  I am free from the Law of sin and death!  I am LOVED!  Know who you are in Christ! Believe who you are in Christ, and you will begin to live like it!
