Jesus knew His disciples were going to face many challenges and difficulties, but He wanted to make sure their hearts were not weighed down by thoughts of these troubles.  The solution Jesus gave them to make sure they didn't get caught in the trap of depression or despair was for them to make up their minds right then and there not to worry.  Jesus wanted them to know bad things would happen, but they need not worry about them, for He would be with them through them all.  And, through the power of the Hoy Spirit they would find an answer to every problem they faced.

 

There are many challenges we face today as well, and the advice of Jesus is as good today as it was two thousand years ago!  Make up your mind now not to worry!  God will give you an answer to every problem and challenge you face.  The Bible tells us if we lack wisdom all we need to is ask the Lord for it.  God is with us through the Holy Spirit, and will make a way for us to be victorious no matter what may come our way.  Keep your eyes on the Lord!  Decide in your heart that though challenges and difficulties are coming, you're not going to worry about them, because God's going to take care of things for you.  The Lord is with you!
