"And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, 'Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.'" Luke 5:12

 

The fame of Jesus had spread near and far.  Tales of the miracles and wonders He had done.  So, it was no surprise that whenever He entered a city people with needs sought Him out.  On this particular occasion a man with leprosy went to Jesus seeking to be healed.  The man knew that Jesus was able to heal him, all Jesus had to do was say a word and the man's leprosy would be gone.  Jesus was not only a man that was able; He was also a man of compassion and never refused the cry for mercy.  The man who had leprosy like countless others who had called on Jesus was healed.

 

Two thousand years ago Jesus was able as He walked this earth, and this truth still rings out today. Jesus is able!  Whatever the need, no matter how impossible it may seem, Jesus is able to meet that need!  When you call out to your heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, you call out to the One who is able to make the impossible possible in your life!  Call out the Lord believing He is able and you will see the mercy and grace of God released in your life in a magnificent way!
