Willing...

"As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever."

1 Chronicles 28:9

"Loyal" and "Willing", God wants us to be both. And when we are both we discover a relationship with God that most will never experience. Many will do nothing more than live out a religious "dog and pony show" for others to see. But for those who will stand on the Word of God by their own free will, they will experience a dynamic and powerful relationship with their Creator!

We are to be loyal to the Word of God regardless of what the rest of the world does. The Word may be forsaken by the religious societies of our time, and by those who walk according to the "rulers of darkness", but the child of God must stand firm on God's eternal Word without compromise. God is seeking those who would be loyal to Him regardless of what they face!

A willing heart is one that delights in walking after the Lord. A willing heart does not walk grudgingly or out of necessity, but out of love for its Savior. God is searching for those hearts that will love Him above all else, and out of that love for Him will follow and serve Him with a willing heart overflowing with joy as they do so!

"And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the LORD and His statutes which I command you today for your good?" Deuteronomy 10:12-13
