Triumph...

"But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Corinthians 15:57

The apostle Paul encourages the believers at Corinth with the fact that Christ has taken away the hold that death once held on them.  Death at one time was able to cast fear into the lives of men, but know Jesus had paid the price for the sin of man.  Because Jesus died the Corinthians and all men could live a victorious life over sin and death.  Death had lost its sting and the grave had lost its victory!

The victory is the Lords!  And because we are in Him and He is in us the victory is also ours through Jesus!  We have been made victors over sin and death, but also over sickness, depression, over satan and his demonic forces.  In this world we have been made victorious in all situations through Jesus Christ, and we will leave this world in victory to spend eternity with our Lord and Savior!  It is time for the Church to stop seeing itself as a victim, and start declaring its victory!  The Bible declares, "What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Who shall bring a charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: 'For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.' Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us."  Let us stand on the Word at all times, declaring the victory in the name of the Lord!

"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." John 16:33
