Hand Of God...
"Blessed be the LORD God of our fathers, which hath put such a thing as this in the king's heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem:  And hath extended mercy unto me before the king, and his counsellors, and before all the king's mighty princes. And I was strengthened as the hand of the LORD my God was upon me, and I gathered together out of Israel chief men to go up with me." Ezra 7:27-28

As Ezra the priest returned to Jerusalem he would return with the favor of the king.  King Artaxerxes blesses Ezra as he returns to the land of his fathers.  The king blesses him with his protection and provision from the king's table.  Ezra would find incredible favor and provision, but it was not because he was a great and likable person, it was because the hand of God was on him.  God gave Ezra favor in all he did, so he could do all he was called to do by the Lord.

As we set out to accomplish all God calls us to do we do it with the hand of God on us.  God gives us favor and provision, so we can do what we need to.  God's hand of grace upon us makes all the difference in the world!  God's hand brings favor and grace in all we do.  We are to move forward in the power of the Holy Ghost, focused on what God has called us to do; without worry or fear of how we are going to be provided for or protected.  God's hand of favor upon us will take care of all we need.  Ezra had a mission, to return to Jerusalem and make sure the Temple was rebuilt and he was focused on that, and God provided all he needed.  As we focus on completing the Mission we too can expect the Lord to provide all we need.

"I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread." Psalms 37:5
