"My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him." Psalm 62:1

It can often be difficult to find the peace we need to truly rest.  So often our minds and hearts are full of concerns of what tomorrow might hold.  When anxiety and worry take over it's hard to get any true rest.  But, for the child of God true rest is always at hand!  Through Jesus we have received a peace that will endure regardless of what the governments of the world are doing, and by this peace we have a rest for our souls.  We are able to rest in Christ in this world, and we are able to rest in the assurance that we will eternally be with Jesus.  If today you find yourself distracted by the chaos going on around you, turn your eyes to Heaven, allow the peace of Christ to consume you, and you will find rest unto your soul.  You will find a rest the world does not know, nor can it conceive.  Be at peace today as you rest in Christ no matter what is going on around you.

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls" Matthew 11:28-29
