"Walk about Zion, and go all around her. Count her towers; Mark well her bulwarks; Consider her palaces; that you may tell it to the generation following."  

Psalm 48:12-13

The psalmist speaks of taking note of God's wonders and blessing, and then telling the next generation about them.  That a good idea!  If the next generation is going to know of God's wonders this generation is going to have to tell them.  Count your blessings; write down all the magnificent ways God has blessed you and those around you, and then tell your children and your grandchildren.  Let the next generation know what they have to look forward to as they serve the Lord!  Don't discount God's blessing, but rather keep track of them and record them!  It's amazing how quickly we can forget about what God has done for us.  Never forget how wonderfully God has blessed you as you speak to the next generation, and all those around you about His great mercy and love!

"And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up." Deuteronomy 6:6-7
