"Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies." Psalm 34:12-13

The Bible frequently reminds us of the power our words have.  Jesus said, "By your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned." If you want to see many good days and many prosperous days, then guard your mouth!  Speaks words of faith!  Confess the Word of God over your life!  Speak words of power and blessing!  Refuse to get caught up in negative speaking and gossip!  Choose to speak about the good things in every situation, in doing so you will build your faith.  The apostle Paul gave great advice to the believers at Philippi when he told them, "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."  It's great advice, because the things we think about are the things we speak about!  Keep your mind focused on the promises and blessings of God, thus speaking on those things.  Guard your mouth, speak words of blessing and life, refuse to talk negatively or cynical and you will see MANY GOOD DAYS!!
