"In the LORD I put my trust; How can you say to my soul, 'Flee as a bird to your mountain'?" Psalms 11:1

What or whom have you put your trust in?  To trust means I have confidence in and am reliant on someone or something's good qualities, fairness, truth, or ability.  Too often as God's children we find we have put our trust in something besides our Heavenly Father.  We put our trust in the financial market and our own ability to earn an income.  We put our trust in the ability of a governing body to protect us from unforeseen catastrophes.  We trust in modern medicine to keep us healthy and strong.  And, while none of these things are bad, putting our trust in them can be disastrous!  As God's children we are to trust in Him for everything!  He is to be the first place we look to for financial help, protection, and healing.  It is our Father's delight to provide these things for His children.  But, if we look somewhere else for these things, we will be putting our trust somewhere else besides the Lord, and we will miss out on all He has for us.  Look to the Lord for your every need!  Believe in your Heavenly Father no matter how bleak the circumstances may look!  Our Father is able and willing to provide for and bless all who will dare to trust in Him for their every need!  Have confidence in, and rely on your Father's love for you!
