^"You hear, O LORD, the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry, defending the fatherless and the oppressed, in order that man, who is of the earth, may terrify no more." Psalms 10:17-18

We have all been through times of physical and mental distress of some level.  Some of our brothers and sisters have faced greater affliction on this earth than we will ever understand.  But, no matter what the severity of the affliction, we all want deliverance when we face it.  The good news for the children of God is when we do face affliction our Lord is right there with us!  We never have to go through it alone!  And, when we call out to our Father He hears us, and stands ready to deliver us.  Perhaps today you face the terror of affliction and persecution.  If so, know that you are not alone!  The Lord is with you, and He hears your cries and knows your pain.  He will deliver you! Hold tight!  For your deliverance draws nigh!
