"Arise, O LORD, in Your anger; Lift Yourself up because of the rage of my enemies; Rise up for me to the judgment You have commanded!" Psalms 7:6

Powerful words that look expectantly towards a powerful verdict!  David expected God to move in dynamic way against those who opposed him.  And God did!  We like David have an enemy that opposes us.  The Bible says, "Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."  We have a roaring furious enemy who looks to destroy us.  But, we also have an ALL powerful Father who covers us with His wings!  He rises up to fight for us!  Our enemy is real, and he is not of flesh and blood.  But, our Father is just as real and much more powerful!  The Bible calls Him a "Man of War"!  He is ever ready to fight for us!  Perhaps today it seems as if all of hell is coming against you.  If this is you take solace in the fact that your Father is ready to fight for you!  You are not standing alone!  Your enemy may be furious, but your Father is MIGHTY and through Jesus He has given you the victory!
