"Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming--in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning-- "lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping."And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!" Mark 13:35-37

When Jesus was questioned by His disciples about the time of His return He tells them a parable of a home owner who went on a journey and left his servants in charge.  Each of the servants were assigned different task, and the one at the door was instructed to watch for the master's return.  They all had different task but there purpose was the same, to take care of the house until the master returned home.  Jesus' warning to His disciples was to keep watch because they didn't know when He would be returning.

As we look around our world today we ask ourselves how much longer until His return, and the answer is still the same, "we don't know".  Even though we don't know we are to keep watch, making the most of our time.  We may all have different calling, but we all have the same purpose, to spread the Gospel throughout the world.  We have been left with the duty of taking care of the Church until our Master returns.  We have been empowered with the Holy Spirit to accomplish this task.  Our time is short and our task is large, there is NO time to waste!  Let our Lord discover good and faithful servants when He returns, working the Commission of sharing the Gospel with the entire world!  Jesus is returning!
