"My sons, do not be negligent now, for the LORD has chosen you to stand before Him, to serve Him, and that you should minister to Him and burn incense." 2 Chronicles 29:11

For many years worship had stopped in the Temple in Jerusalem.  Judah had been under evil leadership and pagan worship was being practiced.  When Hezekiah became king he put an end to all the evil that was taking place, and restored the Temple.  Hezekiah confronted the Levites, who were designated to serve and minister in the Temple.  Hezekiah told them not to neglect what God had given them to do.  They were to grab a hold of their responsibility and do it the best they could.

God has called us all to bring the Gospel to the nations of the world.  He has given us general and specific task to do.  We must be diligent in all God has called us to!  We cannot afford to drag our feet when it comes to evangelizing the world!  We have been given a great honor and responsibility!  When the children of God neglect their call, those who have never heard the Gospel pay the ultimate price!  We must set our hearts to fulfill the Great Commission, bringing the light of Jesus Christ to the entire world!  Grab a hold of what God has given you to do and go forward!  Allow God to move in you and through you destroying the works of the devil, and bringing hope and deliverance throughout the world!

"Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God, who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began, but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior Jesus Christ, who has abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel," 2 Timothy 1:8-10
