Wonderworking Power...
"Moreover, concerning a foreigner, who is not of Your people Israel, but who comes from a far country for the sake of Your great name and Your mighty hand and Your outstretched arm, when they come and pray in this temple; then hear from heaven Your dwelling place, and do according to all for which the foreigner calls to You, that all peoples of the earth may know Your name and fear You, as do Your people Israel, and that they may know that this temple which I have built is called by Your name." 2 Chronicles 6:32-33
Solomon prayed that God would work great wonders when people came to pray at the Temple. He wanted people to see and understand the majesty and glory of God. Those who didn't know the God of Israel would come to understand that He was the only true God when they experienced His wonderworking power!
Today there is still a temple where those who don't know God can come to witness His majesty and glory. That temple is no other than the child of God! God is ready today to work mighty wonders through His children that all may know there is still no God like Him! The signs and wonders that God does and desires to do through His children testify to the authenticity of the Gospel message. The Gospel is to be preached with power not just words! The children of God are temples of God, and they are to demonstrate the reality of God through signs and wonders, just as Jesus did! If you are a child of God, know that His wonderworking power lives in you, and is ready to come out of you, to bring glory to His name!
"If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples." John 15:7-8
