Our views of right and wrong to often sway according to how we feel about something, or perhaps how we perceive things in our own heart.  We many times say to ourselves "I don't think that's right" or "I think that's wrong".  Our sense of right and wrong is habitually based merrily on what "we" feel and what "we" think.  Right and wrong should never be based off of "us".  We too often follow our heart that is our natural instinct.  The problem with following our heart is that the Bible teaches us it is wicket above all things. "Wicket above all things", this is a picture of our heart, which is nothing more than our old nature.  Our old nature wants to dictate right and wrong, it longs to be in control, it wants to be god.  We should never base what is right off of what we think or feel.  Right and wrong should always be based off of God's word.  Right and wrong are never changing, it is eternally determined by God's Word, the Bible.  Just because something seems right to us doesn't mean it is.  Our heart will betray us and lead us away from God and His Word.  What I think is right or what you think is right doesn't matter, it only matters what the Word of God says is right and wrong.
